February's best beauty buys

Summer is at its peak, and the latest beauty buys reflect that. Creamy lip balm that does not budge, a scented candle that is both sweet and comforting, a skin illuminator that you can wear in any weather and a floral fragrance for musk lovers. If you have not experienced MOR’s signature fragrance, the creamy blend of rose and musk, this is the month to treat yourself. Loved for its warming, hard-to-define scent that is both comforting and nostalgic. The hand-poured soy waxand 100 per cent cotton (lead-free) wick make this both sustainable and collectable. Be quick, this is a limited edition.

A texture that is a waxy balm with long-lasting shine. Stacked with nourishing shea butter and citrus peel oil, it also offers a high SPF of 50. It stays put for hours, but here is the kicker: there's no risk of it travelling into lip lines. There are eight shades pictured here: Pink Shine.

Skincare with illuminating makeup benefits: this complexion brightener helps your skin look its best in any light. Wear alone for a naturally radiant flush, or under foundation to enhance your glow; it also doubles as an all-over face and body highlighter. Apply directly from the wand, and then blend it into the skin with your fingertips.

Beauty brands compete with new mascara innovations, primarily focused on length, volume, and brushability. So when we found this newcomer, it ticks many boxes. First, it won’t break the bank; next, it’s a tubing formula that promises 50 per cent visibly longer lashes. It’s smudge-proof and offers all-day wear and drama-free removal. Use a wet cotton pad in warm water, gently press it against your lashes for a few seconds, and it swiftly removes all traces. Got to love that.

This new spin-off of the original All of Me signature is still for floral fragrance lovers, but it also offers a powdery surprise. It includes a burst of juicy lychee, geranium, magnolia and plum blossom. But it’s the powdery-down that makes it impressive: Ambery musk blends seamlessly with sandalwood and guaiac wood, leaving behind what fragrance officinadoes call a sensual and captivating trail. It also ticks the sustainability box; this fragrance is made with 90 per cent ingredients from natural origin.

Got to love a gel cleanser in summer, and this newbie creates a bouncy lather that cleanses the skin while the nourishing ingredients soothe and hydrate. Made with coconut-derived surfactants that swiftly remove makeup and oil, while vitamin B boosts skin radiance.

Once you invest in a silk sleep mask, you will not want to be without one. This limited-edition pretty mask was made with 100 per cent silk, refined over a decade to be gentle on your skin and lashes. We can understand why this cute design is so collectable.
