Louise Hilsz our Deputy Editor & Style Director
With a brilliant grasp on how to wear vibrant colour, stylist Louise Hilsz is BeautyEQ's style director. Her career began in fashion working in a luxury eyewear store then eventually opening her own fashion boutique in Newmarket. After closing her store she began working in magazines styling the glossy pages of some of this country's top titles. Today she has a reputation as a well-respected fashion and home interiors editor. Working with designers and fashion brands to share their vision with real women, Hilsz has found her vocation. She believes every woman has the potential to embrace colour and wear it in a unique way - watch this space for some exciting and colourful fashion and living edits. In the rare moments when Hilsz is not working, she's a running addict and loves to be poolside with Ben her partner and Pickle the Pekingese. It's safe to say she enjoys a glass or two of Syrah accompanied by a quality slice of New Zealand cheese.
Olivia Wimsett our Art Director
Armed with a Bachelor of Design, Olivia Wimsett started her career in advertising but quickly turned her love of magazines into a dream job, working as a designer across titles such as Cleo, Good Health Choices and NEXT magazines. Liv's latest career venture was launching her company, Own Design, where she juggles company brand strategies and web design, with the role of art director at BeautyEQ. Liv is a self-confessed fashion and beauty junkie, with a keen passion for water sports, including surfing and jet skiing - and more recently sailing.
Parkavon Master Pickle our Intern
Pickle is the newest member of our team, and at only five months old, he is showing great promise. He is curious, tenacious, and committed to his role, including snacking on treats, his ball and unboxing - that would be tearing up the cardboard boxes and tissue paper. While his work ethic is excellent, he's been snapped napping on the job; but because he is so fricken cute, we've decided to keep him on, hoping he grows into his role.
