What is it?

With a commitment to creating vegan fragrances, this new Nomade celebrates a new chapter in fragrance-making with 100 per cent of natural-origin ingredients. For Chloé, the desire to explore the planet is inseparable from their decision to respect it. So, in line with that motto, perfumer Caroline Dumur, who created this new scent, chose Egyptian jasmine this time (Jasmine features in all the Chloè Nomade scents) as the hero bloom, which the brand says was hand-picked at sunrise and then responsibly harvested. That sustainably extends to the fragrance itself with no artificial colouring, and it’s formulated with naturally derived alcohol and water - and nothing else. In addition, the new, lower-impact bottle includes recycled materials; 15 per cent of the glass bottle and 40 per cent of FSC-certified cardboard used for the box. Finally, the brown braid around the neck of the bottle represents the ties we make on our travels around the globe.

What’s in it?

The juxtaposition of sweet and tart Mirabelle plum, pear, dates, Egyptian Jasmine, and freesia is a nod to those classic fruity florals. Then the creamy warmth of sandalwood, vanilla, oakmoss and patchouli helps it linger for hours.

Why do we like it?

The simplicity of Chloè Nomade scents is what makes them so covetable. Add the benefits of Jasmine, and it goes beyond being just a pretty, summery aroma. This fast-growing vine with tiny delicate flowers has been used for centuries to create luxurious perfume. It’s famous for alleviating stress and anxiety; at the very least, you will feel better after smelling it. It’s the perfect pretty fragrance to add to your floral scent collection. Like the gorgeous Chloè handbags, this new Nomade is fashionable, elegant, and understated.
