Auckland’s hottest rooftop bar was the venue for our September 10th BeautyEQ Long Lunch at Sunset Bar at Sudima Hotel. Sudima Hotel. This ‘70s-inspired, 132-seated bar in soft pastel pink has breathtaking views across Westhaven, the Waitematā Harbour, and the Western Waitākere Ranges; it is the best view in town - and the perfect spot to watch the sun go down. Tempted by a cocktail on arrival, followed by a three-course continuous tapa-style lunch and two wines matched with the Mumbai-inspired menu. From caramelised bang bang shiitake mushrooms, crispy spring rolls, NZ lamb herb skewers, buffalo curd, coriander, and a signature dish, masala fries with parmesan and tomato Kasundi. Our guests were greeted with a Manuka Bees Knee’s featuring The Botanist Gin, followed by Pasqua 11 Minutes Rose and Loveblock Organic Marlborough Pinot Gris with lunch. At every BeautyEQ Long Lunch, our guests try the best New Zealand wines from Hancocks that accompany a menu to celebrate what a long lunch is all about.
Spring Fashion
From poolside to loungewear, spring fashion was the focus at Sunset Bar on the rooftop of Sudima Hotel. Our models wore various local and international brands to help our guests plan their holiday wardrobes. But what stood out was the Sugar Baby Tan and how easily it gave each model a sun-free faux glow to create sun-kissed colour on every skin tone.
