Celebrating summer under a canopy of leafy trees, Bracu Estate is reminiscent of a Tuscan olive grove, but it's only 40 minutes from Auckland CBD in the Bombay hills, a world away from the everyday.
Our delightful guests spent four hours in our company sipping the reserve collection of wines from Brancott Estate with a menu to complement. Enjoy this edit from our recent BeautyEQ Long Lunch, Friday, January 21st - we hope we can host you all again very soon.
Food & Wine
Four things make a BeautyEQ Long Lunch. Delicious locally grown fare, fine wine and our guests enjoying the latest fashion and beauty innovations. No detail was left to chance at Bracu Estate, an exceptional venue where the menu matches the wine effortlessly. On the tables to greet our guests, exquisite Bracu Estate olive oils, warm focaccia bread, followed by lamb on a bed of kumara mash and red wine jus garnished by kumara chips. Accompanied by new baby potatoes and a crisp green salad, the reserve collection of Brancott wines matched each course. Our guests enjoyed Brut Cuvée on arrival, Pinot Noir on the tables and a selection of Chardonnay or our favourite Reserve Rosè. To complete our lunch, each guest got to indulge in a sweet treat. Sticky date cake, vanilla crème patisserie, with caramel ice cream, drizzled with salted caramel sauce. Vegetarian and vegan meal options are also on offer at all our events.

We pride ourselves on sharing expert advice when it comes to beauty innovations. From how to get your skin looking its best, nail your foundation shade. Discover hair care solutions that offer multi-benefit results from styling to rejuvenating your locks and tanning solutions that go beyond a golden glow. Our guests got the chance to try, touch, feel and buy from our pop-up beauty bars that allowed them to plan their beauty wardrobes for the season ahead.
Alterna Haircare
Since 1997, Alterna 'alterna-tive' has pioneered luxurious hair products, and every guest got the chance to touch, feel and see that first hand. For boosting moisture to UV colour protection and styling solutions to boost volume and tame frizz. This luxurious hair collection harnesses the goodness from sustainably harvested Siberian caviar and plant botanicals more commonly found in skincare; than a hair range. Backstage the team from Exile Hair created our model's styles for the runway; while on the panel and at the pop-up beauty bar, each guest got straightforward dry styling advice. As far as the team at Alterna go, the secret to effortless-looking hair is achievable when you treat your hair with clinically proven, pure ingredients that help you create elegant, luxurious-looking styles with ease.
Elizabeth Arden
Our guest's complexions took centre stage. Treated to the fast, oxygen blast facial using the new Prevage Serum 2.0, which adds instant radiance when misted on top of your makeup. Colour matching with the new Elizabeth Arden Flawless Finish Skincare Foundation, now available in 40 diverse colours, and how to prep your skin with the latest Hyaluronic Acid Skin Primer that gives your finished makeup look longevity and radiance. The team at Elizabeth Arden offered beauty solutions for every skin type and age; from the beauty panel to the pop-up beauty bar, our guests got the chance to ask those burning beauty questions and learn how to get their skin glowing - fast. At the same time, our eight models showed off how versatile Flawless Finish Skincare Foundation can be on every skin colouring.
ST. Tropez
Sharing the latest innovations with beauty panels on the day. The first was all about ST Tropez vitamin-infused self-tan for your face and body. From a vitamin serum exclusively for your face to a body mousse that smells like watermelon, the tanning innovation from this brand is beyond creating a golden glow; it's self-tan with skincare benefits for your entire body. In addition, our models got to show off our editor's favourite Instant Tan Body Gloss on the runway resort show, which was also the gift with purchase on the day.
Pure Fiji
This tropical-infused collection of body products and active skincare will take you on a skincare journey. This clean beauty range will treat your skin from your face to your feet, with hard-working botanicals in a base of four organic nut oils. Pure Fiji's new active skincare collection has a beauty solution for every concern from acne to ageing, and it was at the pop-up beauty bar and on the panel that the team shared why Pure Fiji is ideal for every woman at any age. While famous for bath and body, it's a must if you haven't tried the active skincare collection.
