What does irresistible mean to you? Technically, it means too powerful or convincing to be resisted. However, it means you can't stop yourself from wanting more when it comes to fragrance, which perfectly sums up the new Givenchy Irresistible. It's the second in this scent family and named a fresh fruity floral by the trio of in-demand perfumers that created it. Fanny Bal, Dominique Ropion, and Anne Flipo have conjured up some of the most iconic fragrances for brands such as Armani, Burberry, Jo Malone London, Lancôme and Viktor & Rolf. According to these scent connoisseurs, this new fresh addition to the Givenchy collection is ideal for many occasions.

The new Givenchy Irresistible EDP comes in 35ml, $103, 50ml, $177, and 80ml, $207.

What's in it?

This fragrance is luscious and tangy. From the first spritz, the premium rose extract dubbed ‘anti-morose,’both the oil and rose water blend perfectly with an elegant, musky iris. But tangy blackcurrant (a vibrant addition) conjures up images of freshly picked fruit, softening the woody Virginia cedar. So, this is ripe for the picking for you floral, fruity scent lovers.

Why do we like it?

First up, the bottle is divine. It's a prism-like square in the most luminous-looking rosy pink, with a blush pink silk ribbon tied neatly at the neck. A standout on the vanity, and it's also easy to find in your handbag. The blend of traditional flowers and unconventional fruit is delightful. It's musky, but thanks to the cedar not cloying. However, what has sold us is the tart addition of blackberry, which adds enough tang and just a pinch of sweetness, making this scent the most wearable in any wardrobe to date.
