Shiseido Synchro Skin Self-Refreshing Foundation, $69.

What is it?

After a few weeks of wear, I am starting to think is there anything this foundation can not do? First up, it’s self-refreshing, which means it feels dewy, but the finish is more semi-matte and lasts for hours. That healthy glow (not a cakey finish), is thanks to ActiveForce technology a combination of ActiGel and Time Match Powder that makes it smudge and humidity-proof, resist heat, and won’t pool into lines with facial movements. The built-in SPF 30, protects against UV exposure, and the antioxidant wild thyme extract, light-reflecting pearl powders and Smart Correcting Powder helps your skin to look great in any light.
It was designed to offer full coverage if applied, and then buffed with the clever Polishing Face Brush (Hanatsubaki Hake). Or, if you're after a barely-there finish, simply apply with your fingers, and blend.
There are 16 shades, the names inspired by Ki, which is the ‘life force energy’ that is in all objects - both animate and inanimate.

If you’re in the market for a new foundation, this breathable, long-lasting makeup hugs your complexion giving a soft-focus finish on skin of any age.
