Weleda’s new Skin Food Light, $23

What’s in it?

Soothing aromatic super-plants including rosemary, pansy, calendula, and chamomile extracts sit in a base of sunflower seed oil, lanolin, beeswax, and shea butter. It’s 100 percent certified natural, (and UEBT certified for sourcing with respect), and like its big sister it's ethical and sustainable made. The combination of beeswax, organic shea, and cocoa butters along with an all-natural fragrance blend of sweet orange, aromatic lavender, and balsamic benzoin, seals the deal as an all season essential. While this is a lighter consistency, than the original it offers enough nourishment to get your skin through winter well-nourished, and leaves your complexion sporting a youthful-looking glow.

Why do we like it?

This new Skin Food Light is a godsend as a lightweight daily moisturiser. It possesses glow-giving benefits thanks to its lightly whipped formulation that is non-greasy, making it the ideal base under makeup.
