Wine & Food

Kind Cafè is a green oasis in the urban district of Morningside in Auckland and our venue for the events. Known as a mostly vegan café, the team believes we should all "eat food, not too much, and mostly plants." The delicious menu of shared platters included broccolini with chilli peanut butter, zucchini noodles with roasted aubergine, goats cheese with beetroot, and capsicum, and pea risotto served with a plated jackfruit, rhubarb, and ginger bao buns. The menu was matched with a selection of fine Seresin wines, with a glass of Chiaroscuro on arrival, followed by an intimate wine tasting with summer-inspired whites, including Seresin Sauvignon Blanc, and Pinot Gris. The Seresin Pinot Noir and both Chardonnay and Chardonnay Reserve were all served with dinner. Seresin's winemaker and CEO shared their 20-year knowledge of biodynamic winemaking, and what you can expect when selecting vegan and organic wines this Christmas.

Wellness

Naturopath and medical herbalist Jane Cronin shared sleep and gut health tips, with easy-to-achieve tips on how to boost your energy levels, regardless of your lifestyle. Our guests enjoyed one-on-one health and well-being advice from the team at Clinicians on how to find the right supplements regime to help them look and feel their best at any age.

Beauty

The team from Burt’s Bees shared why honey-based beauty is so good for your skin and shared the latest lip looks to inspire summer beauty bags. From SPF balms to lip oil and luxe-y looking lipstick, there was an application trend to suit any fashion look and age. Top stylists from Hiem and Biba Hair & Beauty shared their vision on going organic and created fast; relaxed hair looks to wear with the latest summer fashion.

Fashion

Designed to complement the hair and beauty looks at our events, style director Lousie Hilsz shared her picks of what to wear for the party season ahead. For that office function, to a festive gathering, as well as the latest swimwear and sports-luxe fashion to inspire everyone's holiday style.

Two fashion shows featuring swim and sports-luxe brands Jaggad and Moontide, followed by New Zealand designers Harris Tapper and Hailwood. The models wore earrings from Four Corners and shoes from Kathryn Wilson, Mi Piaci, Sol Sana and Skechers.
