In the market for a wedding dress? Get excited one of our favourite New Zealand designers Karen Walker has launched Karen Walker Atelier. The collection meets any bride's budget; with a ready to wear range and made-to-measure. There are 12 dresses to choose from where you can add your designer touch from the length, volume, silhouette, and detail. The range runs from fun, to fantastically elegant, including three chic, suits - a nod to Walker's design expertise, a classic well-fit blazer, and pair of pants. Finally, the glittering, new look beautiful jewellery collection will complete any woman's special day. Walker's creations have the signature KW vibe - wearable, elegant, understated, with a quirky edge.
Here’s a glance at the new collection.
The Karen Walker Atelier collection is made with delicate floral lace, botanical embroidery, adorned with glass beads. Fun dotted tulle vells, complement dressed made from luxurious, full-bodied taffeta, and elegant crêpe de Chine.
As well as the made to order collection, (above), prices range from NZ$1450 to NZ$4250,
for that shotgun wedding there are two styles that can be purchased off the rack (below).
Ceremony dress, $500 and Paradise dress, $800, and the three-piece suits are priced from NZ$3150.
The Karen Walker Atelier Jewellery features fourteen entirely new designs. The rings showcase motifs including unique galleries and claws, referencing the famous KW arrowhead and starbursts echoing her signature style. They are available in champagne diamonds, black and white diamonds, morganite, grey moonstone, peach moonstone, onyx and rutilated quartz. Choose from the range, or you can create a bespoke piece - the combinations are endless. Our favourites below, however the full range is available for viewing in the Ponsonby showroom.
