Here's a joyful yet poignant reminder from hair brand ghd who kicked off this year's orchid pink campaign with a collection of their top styling tools. Each hot pink hair tool is emblazed with the words Take Control Now, a helpful reminder for us to regularly check our breasts for signs of change. In the same way, we groom our hair daily, a few minutes of self-checking your breasts should be an essential part of your health and wellness routine. This campaign is a sobering reminder that breast cancer is the most common cancer for Kiwi women. With nine women diagnosed daily, one in six women under 45 admit to never checking their breasts for changes.

The ghd pink campaign
Body positivity is at the core of this message, a campaign with a global focus and a local result. The relationship between ghd and breast cancer charities globally has seen $22 million raised worldwide. Closer to home, this year, $20 from every pink limited-edition styling tool will be donated to Breast Cancer Foundation New Zealand, a partnership that has raised almost one million dollars over the past 18 years.
The mission of ghd is simple - to empower all women to start regularly checking their breasts.
To suit every hair type and budget.
