Nothing sharpens up your look like a pair of statement sunglasses. Style director Louise Hilsz reveals the latest designs from fashion icon, Karen Walker.

Karen Walker can always be relied on for a playful style statement and the designer's new eyewear collection is no exception. Inspired by the complex relationship between good and evil, the Euphoria range includes eight new frame designs, including an update of Walker's classic cat-eye style. With names like Hallelujah (a sleek, sporty style), Paradise Lost (a new take on the wraparound) and Blessed (square-edged and masculine), the Euphoria collection embraces 'apple-cheeked optimists and snake-eyed ne'er do wells alike'. "Our focus was that sweet epiphany moment," says Walker. "It's about that urge to play with colour and shape and view the world in a way that can be transformative." Fans of retro '50s style will be drawn to Bad Apple, a pointy reinterpretation of Walker's cult cat-eye design, while those who prefer oversized frames can choose from Nirvana, Eden and Wisdom. The Euphoria collection comes in a range of colours from classic black and Crazy Tort to Galaxy Glitter acetate, while the inclusion of violet and mustard-tinted lenses add a fun edge to the range. With so many combinations to choose from it's hard to pick a favourite, so here at BEQ we'll be matching the designs to our mood. So how do you feel today, naughty or nice? Here are our favourites from the range.
