Chloè Nomade

What is it?
Chloè Nomade, 30ml, $115.

It's not easy for a fashion brand to continue to pump out unforgettable scents. But Chloè has delivered year in and year out. Their latest is not a rose-inspired floral,  it's fresh thanks to the dash of tart plum, but it is also unforgettably feminine. Named Chloè Nomade, it's adventurous and lush, it's known in fragrance circles as a floral chypre, (this means it starts out with a citrusy bite before settling down to reveal a mossy, earthy aroma), and we think it's exquisite.
What's in it?
Bergamot, lemon mirabelle plum, and orange are the first burst of freshness, followed closely by freesia, jasmine, peach and Chloè's signature bloom, rose. And to give it the kick it needs to last the day oakmoss, amber wood, patchouli, and sandalwood round off this marvellous collection of very on-trend ingredients.
Created by French perfumer Quentin Bisch, who has made fragrances for some of the most premium fashion brands including Loewe, Missoni, Carolina Herrera and Thierry Mugler, if the ingredient line up does not impress, the bottle will. A thing of beauty, it has the soft curves of a woman, the graphic lines of a well-cut Chloè suit and the rose-tinted looks topped off nicely with a beige tassel ribbon that screams luxury. It reminds us of another must-have Chloè accessory the half-moon-shaped Drew shoulder bag. Is Chloè Nomade on our wish list for Mother's Day - hell yes.
