Famous for diamonds and not just any cut, clarity, or colour, but the most brilliant yellow jewel - recognized as the best. Always presented in a little blue box - that pretty much describes Tiffany -  the symbol of love. Now that duck egg blue - perfect little box, could sit under your Christmas tree filled with a powdery new floral perfume - a fragrance I am picking will be the scent of summer - Tiffany & Co EDP.
Steeped in luxury and quality when you own a piece of Tiffany you treasure it. I keep my Tag Charm Bracelet 'Return to Tiffany' in its duck egg blue pouch when I am not sporting it on my wrist - this is a brand that commands respect and their latest launch is divine. I am picky when it comes to perfume. I have what's known in beauty circles as olfactory fatigue, spending years sampling scent gives you a fragrance IQ that makes you very critical. However, with Tiffany and Co, it's not just the little blue box or the eau de parfum housed in a geometrically shaped falcon, inspired by that yellow 287.42-carat diamond (acquired by founder Charles Tiffany in 1878) - it's the perfume.
A unique composition of powdery iris and crisp mandarin blossom with a light, modern patchouli base. This is hand-on-heart the most exquisite fragrance I have worn in years.
It was in the 1980's that this fine jewellery, silverware, and stationery brand embarked on fragrance making, with the first release in 1987, Named Tiffany for Women. Tiffany Men followed in 1989, and several others, eight to be exact have worn the Tiffany name.
However, the latest Tiffany & Co eau de parfum, 50ml, $179 is the work of perfumer Daniela Andrier who champions the delicate scent of the iris flower (possibly why I love it so much) as the main ingredient. Blended with tart mandarin, and a soft musky, not overpowering or hippie-esk extract of patchouli as the base.
Andrier chose iris to reflect the scent of jewellery on bare skin, and her pick of blooms are harvested in France in the summer months with an extraction method is exclusive to Tiffany & Co. There is only one word to sum up this fragrance - like a brilliant diamond it it's exquisite.

Tiffany & Co. presents “Some Style is Legendary,” a short film capturing the making of the fall 2016 campaign —Legendary Style—directed by Oscar®-nominated, and Emmy Award-winning filmmaker R.J. Cutler. Cutler, director of The September Issue, casts an eye upon the rarely seen side of Vogue’s legendary creative director-at-large, Grace Coddington.
