The new face of one of the most wearable scents to launch this summer is ‘it girl’ Gigi Hadid. A social supermodel with over 15 million followers across the globe, she's the natural choice for all-American brand Tommy Hilfiger. Looking sun-kissed and holiday ready in the latest nautical sailor-inspired pea coat (above) from the label's AW16 collection. Hadid had a hand in designing this new collection, as part of her new ambassadorship for women's wear, accessories and fragrance. It's her first capsule collection for the brand, including the new scent aptly named ‘The Girl”. Hadid believes the scent is all about being true to yourself and having fun while you’re at it. “For me, that’s appreciating every moment, laughing at myself and surrounding myself with everything that makes me feel happy.” And as you may expect from the bottle, (below) the scent is very summery, light and fresh. Featuring green pear, violet leaf, fig, and jasmine – with a shot of musky Cedarwood that lingers long after the fresh burst disappears. These are the quintessential summery ingredients to wear poolside or at the beach when the temperature rises. Hadid says, “It’s fun to be in a campaign that’s seductive yet light-hearted and playful. I can’t wait for everyone to see what we shot - there are a lot of surprises to come.”
