Nude by Nature Anti-Ageing Correcting Concealer, $32.

This 100 per cent natural concealer will blur the look of dark circles and brighten the skin with coffee seed extract to reduce puffiness and brighten the delicate skin under the eyes. At the same time, the famous moisture magnet ingredient hyaluronic acid keeps the skin plump and nourished all day.

There are three dermatologist-tested shades fit for sensitive skin.

Concealer is brilliant as a cream highlighter in a colour that is a few shades lighter than your skin tone. Apply to the bridge of your nose, lower forehead, brow bone, cupid's bow, upper cheekbones, or chin.

Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Radiant Concealer, $56.

Doubling as a foundation, thanks to the slew of loving ingredients and sheer, luminous texture. It boasts skin-brightening niacinamide, vitamin B3), vitamin C, vegan collagen, hyaluronic acid, and glow peptide to give the skin a touch of light-reflecting sheen. All that and it offers 16 hours of wear.

There are 30 diverse colours.

Choosing the right colour is critical. Go for a shade the same colour as your skin for general imperfections, but for concealing dark circles, opt for a peach undertone (for lighter skin) or an orange undertone (for darker skin). This helps counteract the darkness.

While there are no rules with makeup layering, we like to apply concealer after foundation. When you apply concealer first, you remove most of it when you sweep on your foundation. This way, you don’t end up wearing mask-like makeup.
