We all know we don't have a planet without bees, but did you the honey they produce is not only a terrific topping it’s also softening, smoothing, and even clearing for the skin? Editor Trudi Brewer shares all that is good from our humble bee in beauty.

 Burt’s Bees Chai Lip Tea Balm, $9.

Just the sweet treat your lips need on the daily. With 100 percent nourishing beeswax, with natural oils and butter such as Shea butter, almond oil, cocoa butter, and lanolin, with cinnamon, nutmeg, and black tea, and hints of clove. It tastes as delicious as a spicy mug of sweet Chai Tea.
