Holey Moley Golf Club and Bar
Game of mini golf anyone? The kind of round we enjoy with a glass of rosé in hand can now be found at the Viaduct Harbour. Next to Parasoul & Swing just opened, the first outside Australia is a clever concept known as Holey Moley Golf Club and Bar, a cool bar-slash-mini golf club. The team went to the opening this week. (October 10th) which drew a crowd of around 700. This new Insta-worthy waterhole is so much fun. Grab your putt, a cocktail (they have a brilliant selection) and order a burger, the Holey Cheezus (order the delicious sides) or the Vegan Snack Stack - roasted vegetable lasagne and crispy hash nuggets, it’s the best. Each hole features a movie character including ET on the bike, The Simpsons, the monster shark from Jaws, and The Flintstones to name a few. It's the ideal playground for team drinks, (apparently Friday nights are already booked out until the end of the year) so you need to be quick to secure a booking before Christmas.
Open seven days until late, Holey Moley is the place to head for a fun, competitive, and hilarious night out.
Britomart for food truck Friday
Slip out of the office and head to Takutai Square in Britomart every Friday for lunch under the sun. Get a dose of vitamin D while you relax on the beanbags and enjoy the great food from The Tin Kitchen and The Beverage Sisters. Grab a delicious smoothie from sisters Pip and Arabella served fresh from their cute, modified 1974 Bedford campervan. They believe that being healthy should be tasty and fun, as well as rewarding - snap. Or sample some of the delicious fare served by chef and owner of The Tin Kitchen, Matt Ross. He's on a mission to add a touch of restaurant quality to the street food truck scene. His menu of well-made, tasty food includes Bánh mì (Vietnamese filled rolls) with pork belly, shredded chicken and tofu are all divine - we're thinking of relocating our Foodie Friday to Britomart for summer - see you there.
