For some lucky ladies, they have their own bathroom - no trace of masculinity and styled to perfection using pretty prints, textured detail and fresh flowers. Make this space yours with no compromise.

For that restful vibe after a stressful day, a bathroom with clean lines will be your sanctuary. Neutral tones and luxurious finishes like marble, matte, wood and chrome make this trend. While this look can be stark, keep a modern bathroom feeling warm with your favourite scented candle.

Of all the rooms in your home, the bathroom, especially a guest bathroom is one that you can load with colour. The best place to start is a bold wall covering. If after a year or two you have had enough it's easily taken down and a new pattern or texture can be applied. When planning the colour you don't have to choose one shade and match all the accessories - play with complementary colours to keep the balance.
