For VB fans, ourselves included, Victoria Beckham for Estée Lauder cosmetics are back. Available again online globally from February 17. But wait there's more - a new collection hits beauty counters later this year. Trudi Brewer explains.
Beckham was not giving anything away backstage at RTW runway show in New York yesterday but did comment that the new collection will have a synergy with her fashion.
“It’s important that this is about fashion as well. Every collection we do I want it to have an element of fashion. Yes it’s all very wearable, but I also have fashion in there,” Beckham told WWD at Lauder’s headquarters in Midtown Manhattan a few days ago.
The beauty giant confirmed the second capsule collection would contain 30 pieces, double the original, which showcased 15 sell-out eye, lip and face illuminating products. And it will be available almost everywhere, from 450 counters in 2016 to 1,200 beauty counters later this year. VB has a massive social following 13.6 million on Instagram alone, so stay tuned to see what she working on @victoriabeckham. We could see a day when Beckham's capsule collection becomes a stand-alone beauty brand within the Lauder’s portfolio - if and when that happens we'll be the first to post.
Check out our picks from the latest RTW runway collection in New York yesterday where Victoria Beckham sent oxblood, grey and navy tones down the runway. The colours in the collection a “gentleman’s club” palette she told The Telegraph in the UK "Enhanced by pops of raspberry and a soft pale blue." We loved the inclusion of her latest vanity case - swoon.
