The first time I dusted Guerlain Météorites Pearls on my skin was back in the 90's, and since its launch in 1987, created by Dominique Szabo, the creative director of Guerlain Make-up at the time, who was ahead of his time when it came to offering women radiance inspired powder with optical technologies. Since then it has had a cult-following for women searching for illuminated skin across the globe. These tiny coloured balls of violet-infused powder have paved the way for all the highlighters and colour correctors that we can't get enough of today.
Météorites pearls enriched with 'rainbow' and 'stardust' technologies help to reveal flattering light on the skin in a delicate shimmer without looking glittery.
So in honour of this iconic product's 30th anniversary, Guerlain have just launched a new version of the illuminating pearls, that give the complexion a rosy glow along with that iconic violet scent.
Part of this collection includes a super fluffy brush and lip colour inspired by the luminous pearls that have changed the look of skin for decades. So we felt it was only right to mark a moment in beauty with a thumbs ups for this latest launch.
Happy birthday Météorites.
