Trudi's edit

Without running the risk of sounding boring, I am a nude enthusiast when it comes to makeup shades. And at this time of the year, it gives skin a healthy-looking hit of colour that blends in a flash. Here are my neutral must haves.

Use your fingers to pat on Clarins Ombre Matte Eyeshadow in Nude Beige, $47, and watch the cream-to-powder finish leave lids with a sheer wash of barely-there colour.

Okay, we need to stop raving about Prevage Foundation, $106. But the coverage, texture and skincare benefits of this makeup out-class most other ant-ageing options that I have used.

Hourglass Veil Fluid Makeup SPF 15 stick, $105 glides on the skin leaving the feeling of silk in its wake. And, I love the triangle shaped stick for ease of application under the eyes and around the nose.

Designed to unleash the inner makeup artist in you, Bobbi Brown Retouching Face Pencils, $60 are for beauty touch-ups on the run. There are 10 shades.

Gloss needs to be tacky, and hydrating. Hello Burt's Bees Lip Shine in Blush, $18, with your apricot wax and sunflower oil base. Expect a hint of pink-nude shimmer over lippy or on it's own. This gloss is available in six shades.

There's nothing like finding an on-trend nude-coloured lippy that is also completely natural, Enter Karen Murrell Lipstick in Sand Storm, $30 - it is truly good enough to eat.

A hint of shimmer on the top of cheeks or along the brow bone and down the centre of the nose, is my secret to not looking tired, all the time. Try Revlon PhotoReady Insta-Fix Stick Makeup in Nude, $35. It's so easy to use.

There is never a season that Dior doesn't launch a new stunning collection. Dior Skyline 5 Colour Palette in Parisian Sky, $127 covers every base for creating a nude, natural-looking smoky eye.
