The first impression of any scent is lasting, and often the reason you buy it or not. With the new Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming, tangy raspberry, pomegranate and blackcurrant, are followed by a spicy pink peppercorn that we can safely say - this combination has made an impact at Beauty EQ. But it's the heart of this scent that has left us wanting more, and that is rose absolute, from a blend of petals including rosa centifolia, to Damascena rose, both grown in Grasse. The rose absolute, is what gives this new fragrance by perfumer extraordinaire François Demachythe a warm honey aroma that is both moreish and delicious, or in perfume-speak - it's a tasty floral Garamond. Other notes include peony, and the very hip-right-now, white musk, which settle on the skin after an hour or so, and make it last the day. According to Demachythe, the nose at Parfums Christian Dior since 2006, "Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming opens with a burst. The first fruity notes spring from the bottle, giving it a positive aspect. It's a composition for a joyful woman who loves life." What more could I add?
