As potent as they are pretty, these nature-inspired creams, lotions and skin tints, are also efficacious. Here are my top performers.

Antipodes Joyful Hand and Body Cream, $43. Thanks to the nutrient-rich avocado, dry skin is instantly hydrated by this velvet-like cream - and it leaves no oily residue.

Jurlique Herbal Recovery Eye Cream, $74. I am an eye cream addict, and for those looking for a botanical option, this feather-light cream brightens, de-puffs and refreshes.

Burts Bees Intense Hydration Cream Cleanser, $37. The star ingredient in this cleanser is Clary sage extract that traps and retain moisture - so no tight feeling on skin post-cleanse when you use this rich cream.

ASPAR Rosemary & Clove Thermal Balm, $20. The sniff of a head-cold, or a pounding headache can be healed by this luxe little tin of pure herbal goodness - just massage into temples, back of the neck and under the nose.

Nellie Tier Bath Salts, $30. I love a long, hot soak, and these heavenly scented rose and pink grapefruit salts, laced with French clays and pure essential oils, soothe aches and pains and nourish skin at the same time.

Pure Fiji Hand Crème, $25. This nourishing, tropical scented cream is always on my desk  - not only is it great for dry cuticles and hands - the sweet guava scent reminds me of my holiday in the sun.

NZ SPA Wild Daisy Body Souffle $45. Inspired by New Zealand with unique native extracts, that have a very luxe-scent, and leave skin lightly nourished, sporting a light sheen.

Trilogy Everything Balm, $40. What this little tin won't do for skin is not worth mentioning. From chapped dry lips and cuticles, rough heels and elbows, it is even safe on baby, and we never travel without it.

Sukin Hydrating Mist Toner, $13. We call this our smug beauty buy, it's the best freshening mist when reapplying makeup after a long day at the office. and the chamomile and rosewater combination is super soothing.

Dr Hauschka Rose Day Cream, $65. From Anne Hathaway to Julia Roberts, celebrities love this rich, nourishing cream for its extracts of rose hip, rose petals and avocado - oh, and so do we.

Grown Alchemist Tinted Hydra-Repair Day Cream, $59. The texture and coverage of a tinted moisturiser, it works for any skin type, but those who are very dry, might like to use a layer of moisturiser first, and then add the tint.
