If you grew up in the 90’s there's no doubt you remember these little guys from your childhood. With their crazy colourful hair, bejewelled bellies and lucky charms, get ready for some serious nostalgia as our beloved 90’s icon is making a comeback with the Mac Good Luck Trolls Collection. Alex Mead introduces us to the range.
The troll dolls or Good Luck Trolls were originally created in 1959 by Danish woodcutter Thomas Dam. Unable to afford his daughter a Christmas gift, Dam carved the doll himself from his imagination which became increasingly popular with the children in his small town and since then, worldwide. It has been a childhood favourite of ours for many years and with Dreamworks Animation set to release a feature film later this year, it's no surprise that MAC has jumped on board. The MAC Trolls collection launches in August with 22 new limited edition products ranging from Glitter to Lipglass. It's never been more glamours to be a troll. And while this collection maybe a little out of the box - makeup was meant to be fun.
