Foundation is the one cosmetic that has advanced in leaps and bounds over the past few years, and no longer leaves a thick mask-like finish to hide skin. Today's latest high-tech foundations are all about enhancing your natural skin tone, with ingredients that correct, helping your complexion look it's very best, with a minimal cover.
Joining that group is Shiseido's new Synchro Skin Lasting-Liquid Foundation, $69. Thanks to a transparent polymer that synchronises with your skin's colouring, and condition, it blurs the look of open pores and covers imperfections while cleverly adjusting to suit your skin colouring. It leaves a sheer, semi-matte, veil, unlike lots of liquid makeup that looks dewy and shiny, the addition of a micro-fit polymer, repels oil (sebum) and water (perspiration).
Why do we like it?
The 11 shades were created to address brightness and tone, the range consists of Neutrals, which are beige based, Rose have a slight pink hue, and finally, Golden, are warm (yellowish) shades - my pick Golden 3. And with only a few small pumps, skin feels and looks almost makeup free - but luminous.
Foundation can be the hardest product to get right. And can make or break your look. What is your biggest foundation challenge, let us guide you to the perfect match?
