Finally, an eyeshadow palette, where every shade is wearable. The latest Lancôme Audacity Palette does not have a shade in it that you won't want to wear. And I suspect the reason it's so user-friendly is that makeup artist Lisa Eldridge designed it. Signed as Lancôme's creative director of make-up earlier this year, New Zealand-born Eldridge has come up with the ultimate eyeshadow edit. With over a million subscribers to her eponymous named Youtube channel, she is one artist that knows how to blend makeup to look seamless on skin. Her application advice is always directed at busy women, such as simple tips on how to master the art of a smoky eye in record time. Or how too take your makeup from day to night in a hurry as seen below. With 16 shades in this palette from a dusky rose to chocolate brown and a matt beige, there is also a selection of shimmering options that will cover any look. Eldridge's advice is simple: "Use the lightest shade across the eyelid as the base and then team with the darker shade in the socket, blending well. Use the flat brush to line the socket gently with the same shade," she explains. "Finish the look by dusting the shimmer shade in the centre, to add a little subtle sparkle and a touch underneath too. And then finish with a slick of black mascara."
