Sarah's Cheeky Beauty Buys

While I am not the biggest fan of camping, I have been known to pack up the car and go glamping on the odd occasion. Never one to drop my beauty standards though, there are some essentials that always come with me to make the stay a little more comfortable - here they are:

CoLab Dry Shampoo, $6.
Give your hair a holiday by keeping this little guy on hand for freshening up your locks. The tiny size makes it the perfect travel companion.

Pure Fiji Lemongrass Insect Repellant, $48.
One of the only downsides to glamping is the bugs but they don't stand a chance next to this spray which is not only natural and free from nasties, it smells a darn sight better than others on the market. I never leave home without it.

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream All-Over Miracle Oil, $59.
Multi-purpose and an essential to throw in your holiday bag, this oil which can be used on the body, face and hair making it perfect for travel. Skin smoothing, hydrating and light enough to keep reapplying, this oil really is a miracle.

Jurlique Lip Care Balm, $41.
The sun can be guilty of drying out lips so arming yourself with a good balm that will work hard for you is a summer must-have. This one is bursting with cocoa and shea butter not to mention beeswax ensuring your lips stay kissable no matter where you are.

Zadig & Voltaire This is Her! Scented Deodorant Spray, $52.
A fragrance which also offers a deodorant is always a smart idea in my eyes and thankfully one of my all-time favourites does exactly this. Giving you protection and a hint of the fragrance, you'll be the best-smelling and non-sweaty person on the campsite.

Burt's Bees Aloe & Buttermilk Body Lotion, $25.
A rich, hydrating body lotion is always a welcome favourite in the warmer months when skin can feel a little parched. This natural one from Burt's Bees is never far by my side when I am throwing together my getaway beauty bits.

Revlon PhotoReady BB Cream, $28.
I favour a BB cream over foundation when I go away but I also love one which offers some sun protection and this one fits the bill. Offering my skin some coverage but also allowing my freckles to peek through, I adore this BB.

Ultraceuticals SunActive SPF50+ Face & Body Lotion, $59.
If I had to only take one thing away, this would be it. Protecting my fair skin from the harsh rays of the sun is an essential and non-negotiable part of my skincare regime and I always favour an SPF50+ for my skin type.
