Glowing not shimmery is the trend when it comes to creating the look of radiant skin. And the secret is to create a highlight, that catches the light each time you move. Known in makeup circles as strobing, according to KieKie Stanners, MAC Cosmetics national artist there is a secret to this technique. "It's about wrapping the high areas of the face in light, with precise placement and layered on different textures."
Here's how to get the look.
1. Start with a mixture of foundation and strobe cream to give the complexion an instant highlight. Apply with a foundation brush or the fingers.
2. Blend a cream highlighter on the high planes of the face such as the cheekbones, bridge of the nose, and the cupids bow above the top lip.  
3. Next, follow with a powder highlighter onto the high points of the face, using a small fluffy brush.
