Trudi's edit

The party season calls from some heavy hitters when it comes to erasing the signs of fatigue. Editor Trudi Brewer shares her essentials to arm yourself with over the silly season.

CHANTECAILLE Mermaid Eye Colour, $54. The latest eye shadow colour we are crushing on is green. Infused with silk tree extract this shadow glides on the lids, is crease-proof and water resistant - which means it lasts all night long.

Shiseido White Lucent All Day Brightener SPF50+, $99. Avoid sun damage with this brightening, SPF moisturiser. Packed with vitamins and antioxidants, along with a slight pearly sheen it's the perfect illuminating primer to wear under makeup.

Oribe Après Beach Wave and Shine Spray, $64. I like my hair to look lived-in, and this spray separates, defines and adds volume, creating textured, beachy looking in seconds.

BY TERRY Impearlious Élixir De Perle, $246. A dull, lacklustre complexion can be transformed for the party season with this luminous skin balm. It highlights with freshwater pearl extract leaving a universally-flattering peach-pink hue - it's genius.

Pure Fiji Hydrating Body Lotion, $49. Nourished skin looks firm. The blend of exotic nut oils with coconut milk is makes this a summer essential -  and my pick of the fragrances is White Gingerlily.

Revlon ColorStay Gel Envy Diamond Top Coat, $19. Regardless of the nail colour you're wearing this shatter-proof, chip-resistant top coat leaves the most incredible diamond-like shine.

Meteorites Perles De Legende Collector, $97. Swirl a powder brush across these little skin illuminators, and dust this magic rose-scented powder on skin. The look of fatigue and dullness will completely disappear.

Josie Maran Cosmetics Vibrancy Argan Oil Foundation Fluid, $71. This lightweight makeup is packed with nourishing argan oil, ideal for those who suffer dry, sensitive skin.
