In the quest to create perfect arches, Sarah Simpson goes on the hunt for the best brow products. And great news for you - is she has found them.
I love a strong brow, but to keep in line with the current trends, I have updated my look to steer away from the overdone finish that I once favoured. My look now leans towards a slightly undone brow with some mild shaping through the arch, and while the overall look is a natural one, we all know that brow grooming requires work. I have cotton-picked my favourites that all complete different tasks when it comes to creating the perfect brow. Whether you are a one-product girl or someone who likes a kit, here are the best.
The Brow Gal The Convertible Brow, $69.
Designed to be used as a powder when dry and a pomade when wet, this powder lives up to its name of being convertible. One of the latest trends is to layer product - try using this on brows dry, before then applying wet to create 3D dimension to your brows. This is my newest 'desert-island' product.
Bobbi Brown Dual-Ended Brow Definer/Groomer Brush, $68.
It's the stiffness of the bristles that make this brush a star. With an angled brush at one end and a spooly at the other, keep this tool on hand for taming and shaping.
MAC Big Brow Pencil, $40.
This recent launch from MAC became a firm favourite instantly. The jumbo size pencil is best used against the grain of your brow growth which works to layer colour onto brows.
Billion Dollar Brows Brows on Point, $34.
This pencil boasts such a fine tip to perfectly mimic brow hairs making it a must-have for those with sparse brows. Use it to create volume where you may be lacking and also to create definition and shape. The firm, small spooly brush on the other end is also a winner thanks to it's ability to blend the pencil.
Revlon Brow Fantasy, $27.
This clever dual-ended brow product is your one-stop-shop for creating great brows. With a pencil at one end to perfect shape and a tinted gel at the opposite end it sets the brows for a longer-lasting look.
Benefit Gimme Brow Volumising Fiber Gel, $45.
A favourite for its ease of use. A quick flick of this tiny pocket rocket onto brows and they are groomed, coloured and defined. This gel is great for those who sport a naturally fuller brow and simply require some taming with a hint of tint.
