Each week Sarah Simpson showcases her beauty buys that do a great job but won't break the bank. This week she shows you the hair products she can't live without.
COLAB Extra Volume Dry Shampoo, $9.
My fine locks hate being washed ever day, so a good dry shampoo is a necessity for me. This volume variant gives my hair some grit and a bed-head feel while also allowing my to eeek out my wash days.
OGX Cherry Blossom Shampoo, $19.
The cherry blossom and green tea extracts housed in this shampoo not only smell amazing, but they leave my hair soft, silky and shiny. Also, the geek in me loves that I can see how much is left through the bottle.
VIA Hair Knots, $7.
They are cute and practical at the same time. I swear I don't seem to lose these hair ties as much as the more traditional ones. These are always in my handbag for hair up emergencies.
Tangle Teezer x Hello Kitty Compact Styler, $20.
My favourite brush with one of the cutest little kitties in town teamed together - what's not to love. I am in a battle with my daughter as to who gets to keep this!
ghd Smooth and Finish Serum, $26.
Flyaways are kept under control with just one or two drops of this serum which also adds shine. I love this the most for when I am wearing my hair back in a sleek ponytail and need to tame the new growth around my hairline.
Hask Essential Repair That Hair Leave-in Spray, $16.
It doesn't feel like summer unless you have a leave in spray in your arsenal of hair care products so this bottle is going straight into my holiday bag. I like to spritz it through my locks after I have been swimming and after evening showers.
