Pure Fiji expert Carla Konik shares her top tips for getting your body buffed to perfection.
Any body preparation needs to start the week before you tan, so being prepared is key.
Make sure you exfoliate regularly leading up to either being spray tanned or applying self-tan at home.
It's safe to exfoliate the day of your tan but be sure to not use any oil based products and remember not to apply deodorant or moisturiser.
Wax 24 hours beforehand or if you prefer to shave, 12 hours prior to any tanning treatment to prevent that speckled egg appearance.
It's not just about the prep it's about caring for your tan to ensure you maintain that sexy glow for as long as possible. Only ever use a PH balanced shower gel - use anything else and you will simply wash your tan and all that prep down the drain.
Only pat dry the skin - never rub & always apply a moisturiser. My go to would have to be the Pure Fiji exotic oil, not only does it hydrate but it also helps give your skin a sexy glow.
